Design that speeds up drone assembly and makes flight operations more intuitive

For over 12 months, Studio Contrast has served as FlightWave's embedded design partner, delivering product design across their aerospace manufacturing and flight operations tools.

Key work includes designing production-line software used daily by assembly engineers — streamlining technician workflows by cutting unnecessary steps, directly increasing production speed and build quality. We also redesigned FlightWave's ground control station app, significantly improving usability for drone operators in the field.

Beyond these flagship projects, we built and maintained a comprehensive design system to keep their product suite consistent and scalable, and supported the team with presentations, user documentation, and ongoing design needs.
